	Vantage One Open Team VS. Kelowna Open Team March 16, 2008 Score: Vantage One Open Team : 5 Kelowna Open Team : 3 Details: The Vantage One Open A Team arrived back from Quesnel, where the Provincial A Open Division Championships were held from March 14-16th with a well deserved BRONZE MEDAL!! In Round Robin play the Team fell to Port Coquitlam 2-3, and Delta 3-8, but came up strong against Kelowna winning 4-3 . The Team played Delta for an opportunity to play in the Gold Medal Game, but lost by a score of 2-7. Goals were scored by Jennifer Mcleod(7+3), Kaitlin Weatherill(2+2), Elana Bertuzzi(2), with assists from Nadene Keller, Mallory Sisson, Stephanie Frank, Andrea Todosychuk(3), Sydney Weatherill, Kelci Petterson, and Natalie Harding(2) In the Bronze Medal Game, the Vantage One Open Team came out fast and continued to work hard, both defensively and offensively througout the Game, defeating Kelowna 5-3. Goals were scored by Andrea Todosychuk(+1), Jennifer McLeod(+1), Elana Bertuzzi(2)and Sydney Weatherill. Casey McNally, Nadene Keller and Kelci Petterson each had assists in the hard fought win. The Team received stellar goaltending from Derrick Doige throughout the tournament.
	Vernon Bunnines VS. Enderby Bunnies March 9, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnines : 4 Enderby Bunnies : 9 Details: Sunday March 9, 2008 Vernon Bunnies vs Enderby Bunnies Final Score: Enderby : 9 Vernon: 4 The Interior Savings Vernon Super Bunnies brought the season of regular games to a great end in Enderby. The team rotated positions again with some preferences starting to be realized. With the offence giving some clean passes and great effort put forward by Hailey Quiring and Riley Kadoch, the team had some near goals boucing off the post. Chase Turnbull again showed his goalies skills making some awesome saves amongst many shots on goal. With the crowd and the bench cheering on, the consistent drive of Stephanie Backer (2), Abby Williamson (1) and Delaney Tetrault (1) brought the game to an end with a final score of Vernon :4 and Enderby : 9. The team is looking forward to winding things up at an upcoming FunDay tournament this weekend. Thanks for a great year to all those who supported us!
	Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs VS. Provincials March 9, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs : 0 Provincials : 0 Details: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs competed in the BC Ringette Championships and came home with the Bronze medal. Mustangs started off with a 10 to 4 win over Terrace. Scoring for Vernon were Ana Manton 5 goals, Kaylee Barss 1 goal + 2 assists, Marika Sayer with 2 goals, Megan Vadnais 1goal + 1 assist, Dinushi Fernando 1 goal, Steff Krizanowski 2 assists, 1 assist each for Whitney Jacura, Cass Walker, & Nicole Williams. The next game was against Shuswap (the eventual Gold medal winners). Shuswap won 7 – 3 with all three Mustangs goals scored by Ana Manton with assists to Kaylee Barss and Nicole Williams. They then played 2 games against PoCo which ended in identical 7-5 scores. PoCo won the first game , Scoring for Vernon were Cass Walker 2 goals + 1 assist, Kaylee Barss 2 goals, Megan Vadnais 1 goal, Nicole Williams 3 assists, Whitney Jacura 1 assist. Vernon won the second game. At the end of the first period the score was 2-1 for Poco and at the 15 minute mark of the second period there was an injury to a PoCo player and the game was delayed for over 30 minutes while waiting for the ambulance to come and take the injured player from the ice. The incident rattled both teams and after the game resumed PoCo scored 3 more goals to take a 5-1 lead, but Vernon dug down and came back with 6 straight goals in the last 7 minutes of the game to win by 2 and win a spot in the medal round. Scoring for Vernon were Steff Krizanowski 3 goals + 1 assist, Kaylee Barss 2 goals + 1 assist, Megan Vadnais 1 goal + I assist, Marika Sayer 1 goal, Ana Manton 4 assists. In the semi final against the first place team from the other pool, Richmond, the Mustangs played very hard and were leading 3-2 with 6 seconds left in the game when Richmond tied the game and forced overtime. Richmond scored their winning goal in the first overtime period to advance to the Gold Medal game. Scoring for Vernon were Kaylee Barss , Marika Sayer, and Whitney Jacura with assists from Ana Manton and Coral Webster. In the Bronze medal game Vernon played Kelowna and won 7 – 4 led by Marika Sayer 3 goals + 1 assist, Ana Manton 2 goals, Cass Walker 1 goal, Megan Vadnais 1 goal, Assists to Kaylee Barss, Steff Krizanowski, & Dinushi Fernando. Watkin Motors Goalie Sarah Semph played all 6 games and was sensational for the Mustangs, receiving kudos from all the teams she played against. Defense corps of Cass Walker, Devon Dorais, Whitney Jacura and Nicole Williams were also strong in support of Sarah, working hard to help in our zone.
	Vernon Novice Predators (red) VS. Kelowna 1 March 3, 2008 Score: Vernon Novice Predators (red) : 6 Kelowna 1 : 5 Details: Hi Kevin Sunday Mar. 03, CNC, Vernon Predators (6) – Kelowna 1, (5) Within seconds of the starting whistle Ashleigh Cohen of the Vernon Source for Sports Predators put the first goal in. Two minutes later Maddie Powls continued the scoring streak. In the end Powls put in one more, Alexandra Drury 1 and Katelyn Paulin 2 giving the team a 6 – 5 win over Kelowna 1. Her second time in goal Kendra Ostafie did a great job fending off Kelowna’s shots on goal. Thanks Dawn
	Remax Novice Rockets VS. Westside March 2, 2008 Score: Remax Novice Rockets : 12 Westside : 6 Details: Remax Rockets defeated Westside Novice in Westeside on Sunday March 2nd, 12 - 6. Ava Cornell did an amazing job in net.Hannah Popilchak scored 5 (+2), Anna Rice scored 3, Isabella Caron scored 2, Saige Woodliffe scored 2 (+2). Thanks!
	VERNON PETITE B VS. KELOWNA PETITE B March 2, 2008 Score: VERNON PETITE B : 9 KELOWNA PETITE B : 8 Details: Sunday, March 2, 2008 Vernon Petite B Century 21 Team BC Rebels vs. Kelowna Petite B Pirates Vernon 9 - Kelowna 8 Century 21 Team BC Rebels played their last game of the season against Kelowna on Sunday and what an exciting game of Ringette it was. The Rebels opened the score with their first goal a minute and a half into the first period and continued their shots on net to lead with three more against the Kelowna Pirates. The Rebel's forward lines were made up by Kendra Racine (2-2), Bailey Williamson (1-1), Aryana Jacura(2-2), Jamie Sullivan (2-1),Olivia Percy (1-1) and Jocelyn Jones (1-2). With Desiree Turnbull in net for the first time of the season, she was quick on the close shots from Kelowna. Desiree was protected by the Rebel's defensive line made up by Emma Tetrault,Paige Webster,Hannah Taylor and Amy Kadach. As the Rebels were tide with the Pirates, Aryana Jacura scored the winning goal for the Rebels with just 12 seconds to go to end the game 9-8.
	Vernon Novice Predators (red) VS. Kelowna 2 February 24, 2008 Score: Vernon Novice Predators (red) : 4 Kelowna 2 : 7 Details: Vernon Source for Sports Predators lost to Kelowna 2, Sunday 7 – 4. The team played hard, grabbing the ring time after time from Kelowna 2 novice but were unable to get it past Kelowna’s goalie. Most improved player of the game goes to Ava Haldane who time after time picked up the rebounds and either shot at the goal herself or passed it off to an open player. Consistent goal tending by Katelyn Paulin kept Vernon in the game with goals going to Maddie Powls and Kendra Ostafie
	Vernon Bunnies VS. Kelowna 2 Bunnies February 24, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnies : 5 Kelowna 2 Bunnies : 8 Details: The Vernon Interior Savings Super Bunnies are nearing the end of their season but today’s game had to be the best all year. Even though they lost the game the effort from every player to work together as a team made them winners. Hailey Quiring and Chayse Turnbull as goalies stopped an amazing number of shots. Goals were scored by Delaney Tetrault and Stephanie Backer with assists going to Abby Williamson, Sophie Granley, Aleisha Smith and Justin Brunton. The final game score was 8 – 5 for the Kelowna 2 Bunnies.
	Vantage One Open Team VS. Kelowna Open Team February 24, 2008 Score: Vantage One Open Team : 7 Kelowna Open Team : 9 Details: In a hard fought battle, with scoring going back and forth between the Teams, the Vantage One Open Team lost by two goals to the Kelowna Open Team. Elana Bertuzzi with 3 goals and one assist. Kaitlin Weatherill with 2 goals,and Andrea Todosychuk had 2 goals. Assists from Karli Mazu, Stephanie Frank, and Kelci Petterson.
	Vernon Towing Petite C Vaporizors VS. Westside Petite C February 23, 2008 Score: Vernon Towing Petite C Vaporizors : 15 Westside Petite C : 3 Details: Vernon goals scored by: Brittany Jackson (4), Teigan Moore (4), Dayna Hanley (4), Taryn Smith (2), Tamara Andronik(1). Taylor Gray did an outstanding job in goal.
	Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs VS. Kelowna Tween C February 23, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs : 5 Kelowna Tween C : 6 Details: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs played their last game of the regular season Saturday in Kelowna. Mustangs opened the scoring at the 10:30 mark of the first period, with Nicole Williams scoring on a pass from Megan Vadnais. Kelowna then scored 5 straight goals to take a 5 to 1 lead. Mustangs battled back in the second period with four goals of their own including 2 shorthanded goals to tie the game at 5. Ana Manton led the comeback with 2 goals and 2 assists and Devon Dorais supplied 2 goals. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, Kelowna scored their last goal with 1:04 left in the game to pull out the 6 to 5 win. Both of these Tween C teams will be travelling to the Provincials in Surrey March 7th to 9th.

Enderby February 17, 2008 Score: Vernon Novice Predators (red) : 13 Enderby : 3 Details: Sunday Feb.17 2008 Priest Valley Arena Vernon Predators 13 Enderby Novice 3 Great goal tending by Maddie Percy contributed to the Vernon Source for Sports Predators win over Enderby Novice with a score of 13 – 3. Hat tricks were scored by Caleb Pope , Madison Powls and Kendra Ostafie with Brayden Bevans, Katelyn Paulin adding 2 each and Madison Fox rounding it off with a single
	Vernon Bunnies VS. Westside Bunnies February 17, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnies : 3 Westside Bunnies : 9 Details: Sunday February 17th Vernon Bunnies vs Westside Bunnies Score: Vernon (3) Westside (9) Our very own Interior Savings Vernon Super Bunnies played hard against the Westside Bunnies at the Westside Jim Lind Arena, but in the end were defeated 9 to 3. There was lots of action between the blue lines and at times there was 5 sticks tangled, trying to hang on to the same ring. Chayse Turnbull was an asset at every position today playing with all he could, as did Aleisha Smith with great turnarounds in play. The defence learned some new techniques putting up a good wall against the many rushes at the net. A few goalies took turns and made awesome saves but couldn’t stop the high shots, with Brooke Buller not letting any past at her turn in net. Stephanie Becker (2) and Abby Williamson (1) were a great duo netting 3 goals between them and a few high fives to follow. With 10 minutes remaining the team dug deep and really came together working as a unit, putting all they’ve learned into play by staying open and getting great passes, until the final buzzer rang cutting our streak short!
	Vantage One Open Team VS. Kelowna Belle Team February 17, 2008 Score: Vantage One Open Team : 7 Kelowna Belle Team : 4 Details: In an early Sunday Morning Game, the Vantage One Open Team came out ahead of the Kelowna Belle A Team by a score of 7 - 4. Elana Bertuzzi scored at the 15 minute mark, unassisted. Kaitlin Weatherll scored the next 2 goals with Nadene Keller and Stephanie Frank assiting. Elana Bertuzzi opened up the scoring in the second period, scoring 3 out of the next four goals. Assists came from Kaitlin Weatherill, Richelle Blatney, and Natalie Harding. The Vantage One Open Team got their last goal from Natalie Harding, unassisted. The Team received stellar goaltending from Derrick Doige with Kelci Petterson, Mallory Sisson, Casey McNally and Stephanie Frank strong on Defense.
	Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs VS. Shuswap Tween C February 17, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs : 3 Shuswap Tween C : 3 Details: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs and Shuswap Tween C played a close back and forth game to a 3 -3 tie. Both goalies played very well, with the Shuswap goalie peppered with shots in the first period but not allowing a goal until Ana Manton scored the first Mustangs goal at the 2:08 mark to tie the game at one. Sarah Semph made a number of great saves in the Vernon net including one for the hi-lite reel where she slid across to block the first shot and then reached back across the open net with her stick to block the second shot by the Shuswap forward. The teams also exchanged goals in the second period, with Ana Manton scoring her second goal on a great passing play from Steff Krizanowski and Megan Vadnais. Whitney Jacura used her speed to drive thru to the net after a pass from Ana Manton for the Mustangs third goal of the game. This was a very entertaining game to watch as the teams play their tune up games before the Provincial Championship in Surrey early in March.
	Vantage One Open Team VS. Kelowna Open Team February 8, 2008 Score: Vantage One Open Team : 7 Kelowna Open Team : 5 Details: The Vantage One Open Team played an Exhibition Game to a packed house @ Memorial Arena before the Opening Ceremonies of the Sweetheart Tournament in Kelowna. Derrick Doige was amazing in goal with strong defense from Kelci Petterson, Stephanie Frank, Casey McNally and Mallory Sisson in the 7-5 Win! Vantage One goals were from Natalie Harding(2), Kaitlin Weatherill, Jenny McLeod(2), Elana Bertuzzi(2)and assists from Nadene Keller and Sydney Weatherill.
	Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs VS. Sweetheart Tournament Scores February 7, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs : 0 Sweetheart Tournament Scores : 0 Details: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs went 2 – 1 – 1 at the Sweetheart Tournament in Kelowna this weekend, just missing the Gold Medal game. The Mustangs got off to a slow start in Thursday night’s first game against Penticton and were down 4 to 1 at the end of the first period. They fought back to tie the game at 4, but couldn’t take the lead. The final score in their only loss of the tournament was 8 to 5 for Penticton. Scoring for Vernon were Ana Manton with 2 goals and one assist, Singles to Steff Krizanowski, Cass Walker, and Bailee Hopkins Assists were supplied by Whitney Jacura, Megan Vadnais and Coral Webster. Saturday against Quesnel, in a 9 to 1 win they got three goals each from Cass Walker and Ana Manton and singles from Megan Vadnais, Bailee Hopkins and Steff Krizanowski. There were 2 assists from Dinushi Fernando and Devon Dorais, with single assists to Nicole Williams, Whitney Jacura & Megan Vadnais. After this game the team piled into their vehicles still in all their equipment and rushed across town to play their second game within an hour. This time their opponent was Coquitlam and the score was 9 to 2. Scoring for Vernon were Steff Krizanowski with 2 goals and 1 assist, Marika Sayer 2 goals, Ana Manton 2 goals, Cass Walker 1 goal and 1 assist, Bailee Hopkins 1goal, Devon Dorais 1 goal, Dinushi Fernando 2 assists, Whitney Jacura 2 assists. The third game of the day was a hard fought back and forth battle with Kelowna, an 8 to 8 tie. Megan Vadnais led the way with 4 goals, Ana Manton chipped in with 2 goals and 4 assists, Cass Walker 1 goal and 1 assist, Whitney Jacura 3 assists, Devon Dorais 2 assists and Bailee Hopkins 2 assists. Sarah Semph was stellar in net for the Mustangs playing every game in the tournament, supported by her defense corps of Nicole Williams, Whitney Jacura, Bailee Hopkins and Devon Dorais.
	Watkin Motors Tween C VS. Penticton Tween C February 3, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C : 5 Penticton Tween C : 2 Details: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs were at home to Penticton Tween C on Sunday Feb 3 at PV arena. The Mustangs worked hard for a 5 to 2 victory. Penticton scored the first goal of the game, and then it was all Vernon until the second Penticton goal slipped in with 26 seconds left in the game. Nicole Williams opened the scoring on passes from Kaylee Barss and Whitney Jacura and then Ana Manton gave the Mustangs the lead on a pass from Megan Vadnais. In the second period Marika Sayer scored with an assist to Bailee Hopkins, Kaylee Barss scored with an assist to Nicole Williams and Steff Krizanowski scored the final goal unassisted. Sarah Semph was rock solid in net for the Mustangs.
	Vernon Bunnies VS. Shuswap Bunnies February 3, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnies : 1 Shuswap Bunnies : 14 Details: Score: Vernon Bunnies: 1 Shuswap Bunnies: 14 Details: Sunday Feb 3/2008 Vernon Bunnies (1) vs Shuswap Bunnies (14) at the Spectator Arena in Salmon Arm. Our Vernon Interor Savings Super Bunnies put in a fantastic effort for our second road trip in a row. The team gave it all they had being shorthanded and taking extra shifts. The help from parents on the bench and ice made it happen today, and quickly learned what a hard job a coach has! Amongst all the cheering and fast line changes, our goaltenders rotated with some great saves by Chase Turnbull, Brooke Buller, Justin Brunton and team. With everyone changing positions today, they had some great turnarounds in play, good passes over the blue lines and some spills fighting for the ring. With the hustle of our forwards, Delaney Tetrault assisted our only goal made by Stephanie Backer (1). With tired faces (and legs) they thanked the home team with a valentine treat and look ahead with lessons learned to our next game! Great effort by all!!

	Remax Novice Rockets VS. Kelowna Novice February 2, 2008 Score: Remax Novice Rockets : 4 Kelowna Novice : 8 Details: ReMax Rockets lost Sat. Feb. 2nd 4 - 8 to Kelowna Novice in Kelowna, though the Rockets clearly outplayed and outshot the Kelowna team, who won thanks to their goal tender. All four goals were scored by Hannah Polichak.
	Novice Blue Remax Rockets VS. Shuswap Novice January 27, 2008 Score: Novice Blue Remax Rockets : 10 Shuswap Novice : 12 Details: Remax Rockets played Shuswap at home on Sunday, losing 10 - 12 in a very close, exciting game. Ava Cornell was amazing in net! Scoring for the Rockets: Hannah Popilchak (1 assist) and Miranda Blatny (1 assist) with 4 goals each, Saige Woodliffe (1 assist) and Alyssa Racine (4 assists) with 1 goal each. Maddy jJohnson had 2 assists.
	Vernon Bunnies VS. Enderby Bunnies January 27, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnies : 5 Enderby Bunnies : 6 Details: Enderby Sunday Jan. 27/08 Vernon Bunnies (5) vs Enderby Bunnies (6) The first road trip for the Interior Savings Super Bunnies and fun was had by all. The teams were evenly matched with scoring bouncing back and forth. The Enderby Bunnies managed to sneak in one more giving them a 6 – 5 win over Vernon. Goals were scored by Stephanie Backer (2), Abby Williamson (2) and Delaney Tetrault (1).
	Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs VS. Shuswap Tween B January 27, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C Mustangs : 6 Shuswap Tween B : 4 Details: Sunday in Armstrong, Shuswap Tween B started quickly with 2 goals before Ana Manton opened the scoring for the Mustangs on a pass from Megan Vadnais. Shuswap scored their 3rd goal at the start of the second period, but Vernon fought back to tie the game at 3 by the 11 minute mark of the second period on goals by Megan Vadnais from Ana Manton and Kaylee Barss from Cass Walker. Dinushi Fernando on a pass from Kaylee Barss gave the Mustangs the lead. Megan Vadnais scored her second of the game, on a beautiful break away play with two passes from deep in the defensive zone from Cass Walker and Ana Manton. Bailee Hopkins scored unassisted to wrap up the Mustangs scoring. Shuswap slipped their last goal in with 13 seconds left to give Vernon the 6 to 4 victory. Sarah Semph was at the top of her game, making several great saves in net and the defense corps of Whitney Jacura, Devon Dorais, Bailee Hopkins and Cass Walker played their best game so far, clearing the front of the net.
	Vernon Novice Predators (red) VS. Kelowna 2 January 26, 2008 Score: Vernon Novice Predators (red) : 5 Kelowna 2 : 5 Details: Kelowna CNC Sat. Jan. 26/08 Novice Predators (5) vs Kelowna 2 (5) A struggle right from the start the Source for Sports Predators Novice team had to fight for every goal. Kelowna’s players were hungry for the win and skated and checked hard. Their goalie a young lad who plays in net for hockey and ringette stopped the ring time after time but the Predators managed to get 5 past him and the Predators goalie Maddie Powls managed to hold the Kelowna scoring to 5 also giving the teams a tie. Vernon goals were scored by Ava Haldane, Katelyn Paulin and Kendra Ostafie.
	Watkin Motors Tween C VS. Kelowna Tween C January 26, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C : 3 Kelowna Tween C : 6 Details: Saturday in Kelowna against Kelowna Tween C, Watkin Motors Mustangs came out strong. Ana Manton scored the only goal of the first period on a pass from Megan Vadnais to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period. Kelowna rushed back with a flurry of goals early in the second to take a 3 to 1 lead before Ana Manton scored her second goal on a pass from Cass Walker. The teams then exchanged goals with Kaylee Barss scoring with an assist from Nicole Williams. Kelowna scored their 5th goal with 1:14 left and then the Mustangs pulled their goalie – Sarah Semph for the extra skater to see if they could even it up, but Kelowna scored their 6th goal with 14 seconds left to finish the scoring.
	Vernon Bunnies VS. Kelowna 3 Bunnies January 20, 2008 Score: Vernon Bunnies : 4 Kelowna 3 Bunnies : 3 Details: Sunday Jan. 20/08 PV Arena Vernon Bunnies (4) - Kelowna 3 Bunnies (3) Cheers and whistles surrounded the Vernon’s Interior Savings Super Bunnies as they won their first game this season 4 – 3 against Kelowna 3 Bunnies. Goals were scored by Delaney Tetrault and Abby Williamson. The team rotated through goal with Chayse Turnbull spending the most time in net and making the greatest number of saves. Game strategy does not come into play for the Bunnies, their greatest challenge is staying on their feet from one end of the ice to the other and trying to remember to pass over the lines and to shoot when they get near the net. Their happy smiles and shouts of joy when they succeeded left everyone in high spirits.
	Vernon Towing Petite C Vaporizors VS. Westside Petite B January 20, 2008 Score: Vernon Towing Petite C Vaporizors : 2 Westside Petite B : 10 Details: Both goals were scored by Kendra Ostafie. Kennedy Pope did a great job playing goal.
	Vernon Tween A VS. Enderby/Armstrong Tween B January 20, 2008 Score: Vernon Tween A : 4 Enderby/Armstrong Tween B : 1 Details: The Vernon Dodge Jeep Tween A team continue with a winning streak. Melissa Silva and Leah Woodman kicked off the first period with a goal each on home ice. While Melanie Wakutz and Summer Jespersen, locked in their fourth victory in a row. Strong assists by Jessica Okert(2), Melissa Silva and Summer Jespersen. Solid offensive and defensive plays by Miya Doige, Anna Manton, Meranda Silva, Amy Wuensche and Brianna Ostafie.
	Vernon Remax Rockets Novice VS. Penticton Tween C January 12, 2008 Score: Watkin Motors Tween C : 5 Penticton Tween C : 10 Details: Saturday in Summerland they played their first game in three weeks and got off to a very slow start. Penticton Tween C was up by 5 goals before the Mustangs finally got their first goal of 2008. Ana Manton opened the scoring for Vernon on a pass from Nicole Williams. Nicole Williams then assisted Whitney Jacura on her first of two goals. Devon Dorais got an unassisted goal followed a couple of minutes later by Whitney Jacura’s second goal of the night , from Kaylee Barss and Bailee Hopkins. Marika Sayer wrapped up the scoring for the Mustangs with assists from Steff Krizanowski and Kaylee Barss. Dinushi Fernando was in net for Vernon and faced quite a few shots in the 10 to 5 loss.

The team came into the second period 2 – 2, led by Summer Jespersen and Kirstan Moore, captain, assisted by Miya Doige and Leah Woodman. Dodge Jeep pulled ahead when Summer Jespersen and Brianna Ostafie, both unassisted, zipped in two more goals sealing in a win, 4-2.

Westside Petite C December 8, 2007 Score: Vernon Novice Red (Predators) : 10 Westside Petite C : 10 Details: Vernon Source for Sports Novice Red Predators took on Westside Petite C this weekend at Royal Lepage Arena. This is a division up from Novice and provided a real challenge for the team. With the additional help of first time goalie Kennedy Pope the Predators combined their individual talents to come up with a 10 – 10 tie. The defense double teamed their top scorer and managed to keep her off the score board. Although their team was about a foot taller our girls were much faster and managed to move around them and keep control of the ring. Behind by 1 in the last 30 seconds Westside managed to slip one by and tie up the game. The goals were scored by Kendra Ostafie, Madison Powls and Katelyn Paulin.

Kaylee Barss opened the scoring on a pass from Whitney Jacura. Marika Sayer was involved in the next 2 goals, with a pass to Steff Krizanowski for the second goal and then scoring the third goal on a pass from Ana Manton. Whitney Jacura scored the fourth goal on a great pass from Cass Walker. Kelowna then finished their scoring with another 4 goals in the last part of the second period, to defeat the Mustangs 8 to 4. Sarah Semph was in goal for the Mustangs.

Nov 24, CNC Kelowna, Vernon Predators vs Kelowna 1 Aggressive checking, completed passes, picking up on rebounds and making their shots count all came together to give the Vernon Predators a 10 – 2 win over Kelowna 1, Sat. at CNC in Kelowna. Kendra Ostafie led the scoring with 5 goals, Caleb Pope had 3 and Madie Powls 2. The team tried to set up the newer players for a shot on goal but the Kelowna goalie shut them out. Katelyn Paulin in goal kept Kelowna out for the first period but 2 managed to slip past in the second. The bench staff was really pleased at the way the team came together for this game.

Westside tied the game 2-2 in the last 3:07 minutes remaining in the game, but not without Amy Wuenche sneaking in a goal in the last 1:13 resulting in a victory for Vernon. Great assists by Miya Doige, Lisa Weatherhill and Summer Jesperson. Assistant Coach, Derrick Doige, was pleased with the team's perseverance and their victory.

Madison Powls with 3 goals, Katelyn Paulin with 2 and Caleb Pope with 1 gave the Predators a 6 to 1 win.
	Novice Rockets VS. Westside November 3, 2007 Score: Novice Rockets : 13 Westside : 4 Details: it was a break-out game for the Rockets, winning their first game of the year, and in convincing fashion. Multiple goal efforts were turned in by Hanna Popilchak and Anna Rice helping the Rockets to lead right from the start, and never look back. Stellar defensive work was displayed by Saylor Martian, Ava Cornell, and Miranda Blatney who played in front of great goaltending by Saige Woodliffe, who shut out the Westside Team in the first half, and Madison Johnson. Alyssa Racine, Issabella Caron, and Sabrina Louis also turned in great performances that allowed the team to post its best outing of the year.

Kelowna Novice 1 November 3, 2007 Score: Vernon Novice Predators (red) : 6 Kelowna Novice 1 : 8 Details: The Source for Sports Predators lost to Kelowna 1 on Saturday 8 – 6, their first loss this season. The long Kelowna bench (15) to the Vernon short bench (9) was a definite factor. First time goalie Maddie Powls held them to only 2 goals in the first half but in the last 10 minutes of the game Kelowna managed to get around the tired Vernon defense to put in 5 with a final score of Kelowna 8 Vernon 6. Goals for Vernon were scored by Kendra Ostafie – 3, Katelyn Paulin – 1 and Ashleigh Cohen 1.
	Vernon Petite B Rebels VS. Westside October 28, 2007 Score: Vernon Petite B Rebels : 5 Westside : 8 Details: The coaches were away at training but the team came to play. The Rebels lept out to 3-1 and 4-2 leads but Westside battled back to tie the game at 5 at half time. Rebels goals were scored by Paige Webster (2), AJ Jacura, Kendra Racine, and Jocelyn Jones, with assists by Jones (2), Teagan Moore, and Jamie Sullivan. In the second half, the Westside goalie shut the door and stymied the Rebels on several great scoring opportunities, including multiple clear cut breakaways. Even great defensive work by Williamson, Emma Tetrault, Olivia 'the bulldozer' Percy, and Jocelyn Jones along with goaltender Desiree Turnbull couldn't keep Westside off the scoresheet - they scored 3 unanswered goals to put the game away, 8-5.

Goals were scored by Richelle Blatny (2) and Karli Mazu, with assists from Melanie Weed and Kirstie Lannon.
