  • A family rate is available for those families registering 3 or more players ($100 off per family).
  • NSF CHARGES $25.00.
  • Refunds – Fee less $25, less 25% per month player has participated (either part or whole). No refunds after January 1.
  • For general safety reasons and insurance coverage considerations, any expiry dates found on helmets must be observed. Helmets, where an expiry date is provided, should not be worn past the date indicated. Permitting the use of safety equipment that has exceeded its expiry date is considered an unsafe practice and may be a mitigating factor in assessing greater liability or create problems related to insurability should an accident involve equipment found to exceed the expiration date.

What is KidSport?

KidSport is a community-based sport-funding program that provides grants for children 18 and under to participate in a sport season of their choice. Click Here for more information about applying for KidSport.

What is the Zone Team?

Zone teams have been created to allow the top players to play together against other top-caliber teams.  A few years ago associations had ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams, from which ‘AA’ teams were formed to represent the best in the league.  This structure is no longer present in BC organizations.  Instead, we have Zone teams who represent the best of each region.  Zone teams must attend 3 tournaments and Provincials. If they qualify they also attend the Western Canadian Championships.

Our local zone teams are created from players from Vernon and Shuswap. The practices depend on how many players are from each association. In our experience, the majority of players have been from Vernon over the last couple of years, therefore that is where the practices are held.

Inclusion Policy:

As a part of Safe Sport and a belief that ringette is a sport open to those of all genders, Greater Vernon Ringette is proud to adopt the Transgender Inclusion Policy as set out by Ringette Canada. The policy can be found here
